When a Bro truck bro buys a Z.

Needs real tires and not those Hankooks.

That looks wrong.

11/10 would rally.

Who else makes A/T rubber in those sizes? I know Hankook got into the smaller sizes, but not sure who else among the “classics” kept making their lines in sizes for Samurai, etc.

lol those are all-seasons on the Z in the pic. Firestone should have the Destination A/T in those sizes, and BFGs classic A/T should be available too. I know you can get the BFGs for Imprezas.

Hankooks are fantastic tires.

On phone, on bus. Couldn’t see b/c of all those pixels/hand-me-down-phone-from-Moses. Derp.
Also: Given this new information, yes, we should laugh at the tires on that Z.

I like it, but where is the suspension travel?
![]() 03/09/2016 at 11:27 |

The guy doesn’t REALLY go off road, so he doesn’t NEED A/T tires. I agree that another brand would be better, but wouldn’t you want a better ride on the road?

I don’t think you would notice a difference between the S1 Noble2 and the A/S3, but I would prefer Michelins for my all-season needs. Plus, I don’t think Hankook makes and aggressive off road tread.

Oh, that I like

Looks like the Knoxville Sun Sphere, which wouldn't totally surprise me as this vehicle's home...but I don't think that's it. Too modern.

My affinity for Hankooks stems only from the fact that they were the OEM tire on my ‘99 Elantra and I though the grip and wear were fantastic.
I have no idea if these are any good, but they look pretty aggressive.

I had forgotten about their mud terrain tire, mostly because it’s not a good mud terrain tire.

That’s excellent, would RallyCross.

Wow, the 350 looks way better this way then stock.

I like how the light bar blocks the entire radiator opening.

Party-vi has been SALTY this week lol
Man, I wish ANYONE would make an A/T tire for the Milan.

I bet you have one of these on your car:

How good are those AS3s? I’ve heard a lot of mixed things about them.

No my SaltLife decal is on my truck. My car has my “illest” decal.

I hope they both have Monster Energy logos too
EDIT: or a YETI sticker

The only mix you should be hearing is a mix of “great” and “excellent”. I’m a big fan of them on my E46, and my parents dig them on their G37x sedan. very sticky on dry pavement and just as good in the wet.

Of course - I’m not amateur at this. Plus, chrome trucknutz.

A guy on the MB forums was going on and on about how they wore quickly, made excessive tire noise/tire roar and felt squirrely in the wet. Another person chimed in and said he wasn’t satisfied at all with the AS3 and bought Cont DWS instead.
I found it hard to believe that the Michelins would be that bad so I figured I’d ask you.

this beats stance all day every day.

In regards to the real conversation here. I love my General Altimax RT43's on the Milan, they’ve been awesome.

Funny, I’ve heard the same complaints about the Conti DWS tires - loud and uneven wear. The Pilot Sport A/S3 is a performance tire and is probably louder than the grand touring all-seasons they had on their E350 or whatever. For what it’s worth I haven’t noticed any increase in road noise coming from a set of low rolling resistance Michelin Primacy MXM4 tires.
Tirerack likes it a lot , but still puts the Conti DWS over the Michelins for snow traction which makes sense as it has an aggressive tread pattern.
